How this works, and what happens to what you write.

Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or medical care. Your coach is not your doctor, your therapist, your lawyer, or your financial adviser. Nothing here is medical, legal, or financial advice. This app does not diagnose anything and does not treat anything.

This is also not an emergency service. Nobody is watching what you write, and nothing you type here reaches anyone in real time. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or call 911.

If you’re working with a therapist or a doctor, keep working with them. This doesn’t replace that and was never meant to.

Coaching works when you bring yourself to it. What you get out of it is genuinely up to you, and nobody here is promising a particular outcome.

What’s stored

• Your name, your email, and your password. The password is scrambled before it’s saved — nobody can read it, including us.
• What you write in your journey: the events you plot, the dates, your reflections, the themes, what matters to you, your principles.
• The images and PDFs made from your journey.
• A record that you paid for a session — the amount and the date. Card numbers never touch this app. Stripe handles those.

Who can see it

• You.
• Your coach, Jay George. That’s the point — this is a shared workspace, and the two of you are looking at the same page.
• The company that built and maintains the software, and only when fixing a problem or keeping the service running.
• The companies that store it for us: Neon (the database), Vercel (the hosting), and Stripe (payments). All US-based.

Who cannot see it: everyone else. What you write is not sold, not shared with advertisers, not used to train AI models, and not published anywhere.

How long we keep it: as long as your coach keeps your account open.

If you want it gone, email jon.p.george2@gmail.com and say so. Your journey, your writing, and your account get deleted. Give it a few days.

You can export your journey as a PDF or an image any time you like, and keep your own copy. We’d encourage it.

One honest note about security: we use careful practices and reputable US providers, but no online service is perfectly secure. Write what serves the work.

You’re here by invitation. Your coach invited you, and the link and the account are yours — please don’t share your password.

What you write is yours. You keep it. You’re giving Jon George Consulting, LLC permission to store it and show it back to you and your coach, so that the app can do its job. That’s the whole permission.

Use it for your own journey. Please don’t put other people’s private information in here, and don’t use the app to harass anyone or break the law.

If the app ever drafts words for you, you decide whether they’re right. Nothing becomes part of your journey until you approve it.

Software isn’t perfect. We work on it constantly and it may still have bugs, go down for a while, or lose something. Export anything you’d hate to lose.

Limits, in plain terms: to the fullest extent the law allows, Jon George Consulting, LLC and the people who built this software are not responsible for indirect or unexpected losses, and total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid for coaching sessions in the twelve months before it came up.

Your coach can close accounts and can update these terms. If anything meaningful changes, you’ll be told.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, and any dispute is handled there.

You pay per session, through Stripe. The price is shown on the button before you pay, and that is the amount you are charged — nothing else is added. Jon George Consulting, LLC is who charges you, and it will show up on your statement as LEARNINGJOURNEY.ONLINE.

You’re only ever charged when you choose to pay. Nothing recurring, no subscription, and this app doesn’t keep your card on file.

What you’re paying for: the coaching session with Jay. The app comes with it and isn’t a separate purchase.

Refunds: if a session doesn’t happen, or you paid by mistake, email jon.p.george2@gmail.com within 30 days and you’ll be refunded in full. If you’re unhappy with a session you paid for, say so — Jay would much rather hear it and sort it out than have you sit with it.

Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored here.
